An Update Letter From Jimmy Riot

Hello everyone this is Jimmy,
A lot of people have been wondering what has been going on with us, and I have been so busy I haven’t had the time to sit down and put all my thoughts together and get something out to you all. The truth is there has been a lot that has happened in the world of Triple Stitch this last year. Even as recent as this summer and the end of festival season.
First and foremost I want to say thank you to all of you! You guys have stuck with us, and been there to support us through the craziest year we have had to date. It was awesome to meet so many new people and make so many new friends this summer. We are working on a way to get back to where you live so we can hang out again soon.
You all know about Greg (The Jager) and the things he has been going through. I was just over to see him the other day, and he is doing really good. The big thing continues to be him learning how to talk again. He is doing really well, actually saying words and finishing sentences. Praise God! Keep up with the prayers and support, it really has meant a lot. We do today just as we always have, serve an awesome God that operates in the miraculous.
I want to take this time to officially say thank you to JD for filling in for the summer in Greg’s absence. He put in a lot of time, and a lot of hard work. There is no way to repay him for all his time and sacrifice.
Also as of this fall Tony (El Tigre) has officially stepped down from his role as drummer. We want to thank him for his immeasurable contributions in making Triple Stitch what it is today.
As of the end of the summer Geoff (officer Jonhnson) and I find ourselves feeling pretty beat up, and little worse for wear. I have to admit that going through a year like we have, really takes the starch out of ya. You are forced to take a step back and think about everything. Why are we doing this? Should we go on? What is God trying to do in my life?
I stand before you now more resolved and confident in the mission that God has put before us as Triple Stitch then I possibly have ever been. I do not believe that it is time for us to through in the towel. In fact I would venture to say that we have not yet even begun to fight.
So we press on with our resolve and determination to follow Christ wherever He leads us. We have continued to play shows thanks in part to some friends that have picked up the slack and helped us carry the load. Special thanks to Joe Schaumann, Joe Sepin, Dan Schreck, and Steven Bradley.
Though this has helped us to keep moving forward for the time being it’s kind of like a dog trying to run with only three legs. We are looking for some people that are interested in serving God and through prayer and fasting believe that they would be called to a full time music ministry. Most obviously we are looking for a drummer and a rhythm or lead guitarist. But even if that’s not you and after reading this you feel that God is prompting you to get involved with this there are a lot of other areas to be involved if you are truly interested. Please only contact us about this if you are serious and you have spent time in prayer and fasting and believe that it could be a direction that God would be taking you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart
